Dr. Jon Engstrom is more than just a chiropractor; he’s a long-time Lake County neighbor. A proud Lake Zurich High graduate and Michigan State alum, Dr. Jon returned home to earn his Doctorate from the National University of Health Sciences. In 2012, he founded Center For Wellness right here in Mundelein with a simple mission: to provide the kind of honest, high-quality care he’d want for his own family.

Office Manager & Certified Personal Trainer
Tari is the spirited engine behind our daily operations. A Mundelein local since 2006, she joined our team after being a patient herself, inspired by the life-changing care she received from Dr. Jon. As a Certified Personal Trainer, she brings a wealth of health knowledge to the office, providing expert Theragun work and a welcoming smile to every patient who walks through our doors.
When she isn’t helping our clinic run smoothly, Tari is a dedicated mom to two daughters and a fan of the simple things—whether it’s a good book, a tough workout, or a quiet afternoon in the garden.
Valeria
Receptionist
Valeria is a Mundelein local and college student working toward entering a nursing program. She is a triplet who enjoys drawing and running in her free time. As a receptionist, she loves treating everyone with kindness and hopes to make each person’s day a little better.
Emma
Treatment Assistant
Emma is currently studying to pursue a career in nursing. She currently works at a hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she enjoys caring for and helping others. Emma is a triplet, and one of her sisters, Valeria, also works at the front desk. Outside of work and school, Emma enjoys spending time with friends and family and is a huge cat lover. She enjoys meeting new people and strives to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
Sarah
Social Media Manager
A familiar face at CFW since 2020, Sarah began at our front desk alongside her mom, Tari, while still in high school. Spending years greeting patients gave her a firsthand understanding of our practice’s warm, family-first atmosphere.
Now studying Communication and Public Relations at the University of Arizona, Sarah manages CFW’s social media remotely. She blends her classroom expertise with her love for our clinic to keep patients informed and inspired—sharing practical wellness tips, practice updates, and behind-the-scenes moments that keep our community connected.
